How is computer file management like a literal filing cabinet?

  4. The drives could be like a cabinet, the cabinet has folders, the folders have folders and files, and the files store data.

  6. The overall hard drive is like a filing cabinet because everything is stored in a logical order sometimes called hierarchy. Library's hold folders and within those folders you may find more folders, or just stored data.

  7. everything is organized in file folders, and those folders can either have documents in them, or they can have sub folders that have documents in them and they can be organized in a logical order to make finding stuff even easier.
