why do you want to add links to diffrent places on the same page
because if you've got a really really really long page you don't want people to have to scroll for like a half hour to find a paragraph and a half that they needed, it'll take to long and they'll probably lose patience with your site!
You add links to different places on the same page if the page is really long and you want to link to a certain place on the page.Ethan
