What are the steps in writing a rule in CSS?

  1. Choose the element you want to style, place all the styles for the selectors in braces {} specify the property you want to style, determine the value of the property, and at the end of a value, put a semi-colon.

  2. What she said but also make sure that you put the styles in Braces and not angle brackets.

    select the desired element to style, specify the property you want to style, determine the value of the property, and at the end of a value, put a semi-colon. oh and make sure to use Braces instead of angle brackets...
